A 2024 snapshot and our vision for the future

We’re proud to share ‘Accelerating Impact,’ a report that incorporates our 2024 annual review and also offers much more. It shares a 5-year roadmap to accelerate our mahi and deepen our impact across Aotearoa.

You’ll find uplifting stories of lives changed, such as Julie’s. She says, “First Foundation wrapped around me and my whānau. Now, it’s realistic for my tamariki and mokopuna to aspire to higher education.”

The report shines a light on scholars who were the first in their communities to attend university, mentors who’ve guided them through challenges, and alums who are now leaders in their fields. Importantly, we show that backing First Foundation is an investment that pays rich dividends.

Your support has been instrumental in helping us award 1099 scholarships over the last 25 years. Imagine what lies ahead! We’re deepening partnerships, growing networks, and seeing a generation of remarkable scholars. This all means that 2025 is a tipping point where we can do more than ever before while also meeting a need of increasing urgency.
