Investing in NZ’s future

Nonprofit fund manager Simplicity has come on board to give a trailblazing young Kiwi, whose circumstances make it harder to attend university, a place in our four year programme.

Co-founder and managing director Sam Stubbs says not only is supporting a deserving student life-changing for them and their whānau, but the scholar will also contribute to the Simplicity team.

“There are different ways to support change. Some programmes or projects aim to benefit as many people in a community as possible. The First Foundation programme recognises that positive change can start with one person.

“First Foundation is supporting amazing young people who not only transform their own lives, but will give back to their communities and have a positive impact on society. We think that a First Foundation intern in our office will be a positive change for us as well.”

Simplicity’s members have identified youth development and education as top priorities for charitable giving, says Sam.

“Simplicity aims to empower people by giving them choices in life. Smart investing is a big part of this, but so is education.

“We see funding work in this area as an investment in New Zealand’s future.”

“We chose to partner with First Foundation because we were impressed by it’s long-standing and proven programmes to support talented young New Zealanders to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. Supporting the scholar through an internship at Simplicity adds another welcome dimension.”

Thank you to Simplicity for supporting a bright young New Zealander to succeed!
