Timoti Wharewaka

This young man, of Ngapuhi decent, has outstanding leadership potential. At school he was part of the gifted kids programme, a Maori Whanau Roopu cultural leader, secretary for The Rising Foundation at the college, and an Ernst and Young developing leader. He is the first in his family to have attended university. Timoti was one of four inaugural Glenn Family Foundation students and his work experience element of his scholarship was with Spicers paper suppliers.

Academically, his talents spread across Art, Mathematics, Maori, English and Technology. In addition he was an outstanding Taekwon-Do competitor and a willing volunteer for community programmes. His quiet, friendly, intelligent, thoughtful and determined nature stands him in good stead for a achieving his future goals.

Timoti completed a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences from AUT University and postgraduate studies whilst continuing to work at Spicers. 
He is currently a Functional Intern (Cloud Consultant) for Accenture.
