Te Rina Maise

CLASS OF: 2014
SCHOOL: Auckland Girls' Grammar School

Te Rina is part of the Whanau Unit, Nga Tumanako o Kahurangi at the school, and is an active member of Iti Kahurangi Kapa Haka and Kahurangi ki maungawhau Kapa Haka, performing at Auckland Polyfest for four years.

She is a PSSP Counsellor and runs regular Health Promotions in school, and Te Rina also mentors year 9 and 10 Maori students. She is part of Senior Netball and Softball teams, takes Guitar and Drum lessons, plus participates in the school's Photography club and is active in the Human Rights committee.  Te Rina also manages to squeeze in time for voluntary clerical work for Greenpeace.

She intends to attend Otago University to  study Pharmacy with a goal of becoming a Pharmacist
