Lorne is passionate about music and was first in both music and
composition. He plays guitar, drum, bass guitar and saxophone and
was in his school's concert band, jazz band, rock band and choir.
He assisted teaching year 9 and 10 music classes and wrote his own
material.
"Lorne has an exceptional musical talent. I have been his music
teacher since he came to secondary school. I have taught numerous
students over many years and he would have to be one of the most
intuitively musical students I have ever taught," said Margaret
Robertson from Mairehau High School.
He hopes to be the first of his family to go to University and
would like to complete a Bachelor of Musical Arts and teach music
in the future.
