Lavinia achieved NCEA Levels 1 and 2 with Excellence
Endorsements.
She has been heavily involved in the HCB4U (Health Could B for U)
programme with the Counties Manakau DHB to encourage Pasifika and
Maori students interested in the health professions. She was also
awarded a scholarship to travel to University of Otago to get real
experience of the courses they offer. Lavinia is also
actively involved in religious studies through her church.

Lavinia is planning to be the first in her family to go on to
tertiary education, with a plan of studying at The University of
Auckland. She wishes to study either in Health Sciences and
Medicine to become a Doctor or for a Teaching degree to become a
Teacher of English as a second language.
