HEAD GIRL, 2015
Lata completed NCEA Levels 1 and 2 with Excellence Endorsements,
along with a Health Care Heroes Award for all round excellence in
Science, Merit awards for Music and Science and a Prize for
PE.
Currently 2015 Head Girl, Lata has been involved in leadership
roles with the Geek Café which provides tutoring and suppoting
services to mature members of her community. Lata was also selected
to go on the Spirit of New Zealand leadership course. She is an
active sports woman, playing Rugby for the Auckland Womens U19
Tongan Team, and has been the Vice Captain of the Girls team.
Lata has also performed at the ASB Polyfest and was a Year 12
Careers Ambassador in her school.

Lata plans to attend The University of Auckland to complete a
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree with the goal
of becoming a Civil or Environmental Engineer. She will be
the first in her family to carry on to tertiary education.
