Lafou Kirifi

Lafou (Lala) arrived in New Zealand from Tokelau in 2012 and has achieved NCEA Level 1 and 2 with a Merit Endorsement from Aotea College. She is a member of the Girls Barbershop Chorus and participated in the Tokelau Polyfest group for the College 

In Tokelau, she was the Year 11 Dux at Matauala School and completed USP (year 12 equivalent) in Fiji. Lala was a School Prefect in 2011 at Matauala School and Treasurer for the Alafu Student Association at USP.
Lala has worked in her grandparent's store for five years and been involved in the Finance Assistance programme in 2011 as well as an Amateur Movie / Film editor in 2012.

Lala plans to go on to Whitireia NZ or the Open Polytechnic to study either for a Bachelor of Applied Business Studies, Bachelor of Management or a Bachelor of IT with the goal of becoming a Business Analyst, Project Manager or Management Consultant.
