Juanita is a talented all-rounder. She has been a consistently
high achiever in curricular and extra-curricular endeavours,
involving herself in a diverse range of activities and leadership
positions. Juanita received the Colgan Scholarship for Excellence
in her Yr 11 and showing particular strengths in the Arts was
awarded, in her final year, Kelston Girls' inaugural Dux
Artium.
Paul Cook, Director at CGNZ said of Juanita 'We were particularly
pleased that a "creative" student put herself forward for a
management consulting organisation, as it suggests Juanita realises
the contribution business acumen will play in support of her
artistic talents to achieve her goals." During her Scholarship
Juanita rose to the challenge of working within professional
environments. She particularly values the networks that she created
and the experience of being involved in CGNZ's merge with Hewlett
Packard.
Juanita studied at The University of Auckland. She graduated top
of class in 2009 with a Bachelor of Dance Studies and again in 2011
with a Postgraduate Diploma and a Masters in Choreography and
Performance. Recent projects include Woven, a commissioned work for
The University of Auckland 2010 dance tour to China , The Live
Series, and Rehearsal Directing the 2011 winning Whenuapai School
J-Rock Stage Challenge group.
