Considered by the Deputy Principal at Hornby High School to be a
consistent performer across all subjects, Jayden was a valued
student whose hard work did not go unnoticed. During his high
school years, Jayden chose to stay in Christchurch to continue on
his successful academic path instead of moving with his family to
the West Coast. While committed to his academic studies, Jayden
also took a very active role in sports. He played Soccer,
Volleyball, Basketball, Cricket Golf, Tennis, Rugby and Indoor
Cricket, participating in several school teams and local clubs.
In awarding Jayden a First Foundation Scholarship, Telecom saw
his future as bright and they expressed excitement at the thought
of supporting him towards realising his full potential.
Jayden completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University
of Canterbury in 2012. He then worked for Harcourts in
Christchurch before relocating to Auckland in October 2013 as
Business Operations Manger for Harcourts NZ.
In August 2014 he started at Noel Leeming as Commercial Sales
Specialist and moved back to Christchurch in 2016 to be their
Southern Trade Manager.
