HEAD GIRL, 2014
Irihaapeti was Head Girl in Year 13, an active member of the
school's Netball team where she was Captain from Years 9 through to
12, and also took on a coaching role. Iriaapeti has also been
heavily involved in the school's Kapa Haka team where she has
developed her public speaking and performing skills, and received a
Year 12 Special Award for fair play and sportsmanship.

women. She has the ability to relate well to a wide range of
people and this is evident in her interpersonal skills….she has
been involved in a wider range of school activities…tertiary study
will help her to gain more independence and understanding of her

In her spare time Irihaapeti enjoys babysitting, netball and
coaching.
Irihaapeti is planning to become a Primary School Teacher and has
commenced a Bachelor of Education (Primary) at The University of
Auckland TaiTokerau Campus in Whangarei. She is the first in
her family of ten to attend University.
