Dux 2010
Inna was recognised as a gifted and
talented student right from her start as a Yr 9 at McAuley High
School. Inna took every opportunity to succeed in academia and in
extra-curricular pursuits. Her successes resulted in being awarded
the Ted Jaggard cup for General Excellence in Yr 11.
Subsequently she went on to achieve her goal of being school
Dux in 2010 and to receive the Bob Crawford Cup for
Excellence.
Inna made a large contribution to the life of her school. As a
Prefect, her cultural, sporting and community service involvements
highlighted Inna's ability to manage her time well and fully commit
to diverse and meaningful activities.
She is the first person in her family of six to attend university
and at this stage is studying towards becoming an Engineer through
The University of Auckland and graduated in December 2015. Inna's
family are very supportive of her education and are proud of her as
she takes on tertiary study. Having grown up in Otara, this young

She wants to "make a positive name for South Auckland."
