George's outstanding efforts were recognised through the
prestigious Colgan Scholarship award for all-round excellence in
Year 11. With extensive curricular and extracurricular involvement,
George won many other prizes which affirmed his all-round
excellence. Finishing high school, George aspired to study
Journalism, Communications and Political Studies.
George's application to The Laminex Group told of a student who
managed to juggle a broad range of interests in his life from
Hockey to Cricket to Ceili dancing, winning speech competitions and
debating and helping others. Working within the corporate
environment of The Laminex Group, George has gained an
understanding of business and HR, which he says that he draws on
daily.
George studied a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Auckland,
graduating in 2007. He then went on to complete Postgraduate papers
in Theology. George's personality and people skills show
through in his job presenting the Late Show on the national radio
station Life FM. He is currently a broadcaster at Rhema Media.
