Fern Kumeroa was an active member of her school's peer support
programme and a member of the basketball team. She was a member of
the French trip to the South of France. To raise money for that
trip, she had part-time jobs in retail.
She achieved both NCEA Level 1 and 2 with merit endorsements and
hopes to study for a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at Massey
University.
"Fern is a pleasant, polite student who relates well to both staff
and her fellow students. She is always reliable and responsible,"
said Fielding High School Assistant Principal/ Year 13 Dean Philip
Jeffreys.
In her spare time Fern enjoys running and walking to keep fit.
