Fereni won a Diligence Award in Year 11 at McAuley High School
for her hard work; coming 2nd in Physical Education and 3rd in
Science at NCEA Level 1 and achieved Excellence Endorsement overall
for NCEA Level 2. She was Dux in Year 8 and 10, has been
Class Captain a number of times and was the Liturgy Leader in her
class.
She plays Basketball U15, U17 and in the Open grade; is in
Waka Ama, Cricket teams and Netball teams, also a Netball Coach
Year 10 - receiving a Leadership award for her coaching
skills. She has also been part of the schools Mathex
team.

Outside of school she works part time babysitting and tutoring
others, plus attends Sunday school.
Fereni wishes to study Civil Engineering and Commerce at The
University of Auckland, with her ultimate goal of completing a PHD
and moving on to owning her own Civil Engineering firm.
