HEAD BOY, 2015
Fakaanga (Anga) was 2013 Top Year 11 Scholar and 2014 Top Year 12
Scholar at Mangere College - coming top in all six subjects he
studied at Senior prize giving. He was the General
Manager and Finance Director for the Level 2 Business Studies
Tonganlicious Group at School which came first place at the
college.
Anga plays Trombone in the School brass band and MC Jazz Band, plus
was elected to be Assistant Band Conductor and Composer for the
Free Church of Tonga Mo'unga Olive Brass Band. He has been
involved in the Tongan Performing group at Polyfest for a number of
years and plays Rugby for school at U14 and U15.
When he's not studying he works part time, plus enjoys playing
Cricket, Touch Rugby and Volleyball.
He plans to attend The University of Auckland to study a con-joint
Degree in Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Commerce and one day
hopes to become a Musician and a Financial Auditor.
