Erike is an outstanding student, who shows a passion for
whatever she puts her hands to. Erike consistently achieved
outstanding academic results and by the end of 2008 had achieved
NCEA Levels 1 and 2 endorsed with Merit. While being successful
across the board, Erike showed particular flair for photography,
not only gaining first in her year group at Yr 11, but in 2009
obtaining an NCEA Scholarship Photography.
Despite obvious skill in Art, it is Nursing that has been a
voccational dream of hers for some time. Being a member of the St
John Youth since 2006 has encouraged her interest in the medical
field and fostered her essential social skills necessary for a
career as a Specialist Nurse or Paramedic. Erike has represented
the Nothern Region at National St John Youth Festivals and received
the Grand Prior's Award - the most prestigious award given in St
John Youth.
A+ Trust were drawn to Erike as 'a high achieving self-motivated
student with a demonstrated commitment and ability to succeed in
the health care arena.'
Erike graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from The
University of Auckland in 2012 and worked as a theatre
nurse at Auckland City Hospital whilst completing her
NETP graduate programme.
Erike also intends to advance her photography and St John
commitments.
