Dorothy's desire to become a registered nurse has been fuelled
by her close experience with diabetes. She has a strong passion to
help others and give back to her community which has been
reinforced by her positive experiences she has had with
nurses. Other qualities mentioned by McAuley High
School's Year 13 Dean below will also ensure that she is successful
with her dream.
"Dorothy is an ambitious young woman who makes a real effort at any
given task. She is a quietly positive influence not only in school
but also in the wider community. She is a resilient person who has
dealt with challenges with mana and dignity".
In her spare time Dorothy is actively involved in her church.
