Only moving to Christchurch in 2007, from Slovakia, this
outstanding student was named the top academic in her Yr 11.
In 2009 she was awarded NCEA Level 1 with an excellence endorsement
and her results lay in the top 2.6% in the country.
In addition to outstanding academic results, Diana is a talented
sports woman. She has represented not only her school but also
Canterbury as an Under 15 and Under 17 player. She plays Hockey,
Futsal and Volleyball. In 2009 she won the Blazer Award for
Excellence in Sport.
On top of her impressive sporting achievements, Diana has held a
number of leadership positions within school. The Head of the
Sports Department, Christa Clyde, says that "Diana is a student who
you can always rely on, she upholds the values of the school and
her dedication to perfection allows her to succeed."
Diana completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in
Biotechnology. currently In 2016 Diana completed a Post
graduate diploma in Molecular Biology from Victoria University of
Wellington where she is currently a research assistant. Diana
is also a First Foundation mentor
