Daniel was determined to be the first in his family to get to
University. Petreece Patterson, Human Resources &
Administration Manager at ACP Media at the time described Daniel as
having the "proven ability to succeed."
One of Daniel's major highlights since beginning his First
Foundation journey was being selected as the first ever student for
an ACP Media Undergraduate placement. Whilst doing this placement,
Daniel also studied fulltime for a Bachelor of Communications at
AUT. Through this degree he had chances to work alongside top New
Zealand radio presenters for Radio Sport and Newstalk ZB as a
journalist and a brief stint as a producer before graduating with
his degree and travelling around Europe.
Daniel worked in London as an events supervisor at Porchester
Hall, a 1929 venue that hosted a variety of events from music
showcases, sports events and weddings to television shows with
likes of comedian Jimmy Carr, and reality stars Sharon and Ozzie
Osbourne.
Daniel lived in Aarhus, Denmark and in 2015 completed a Master's
degree in Corporate Communication from Aarhus Universitet.
In July 2016 he started as Senior Accountant Executive at Clarity
Business in Auckland.
