Dane was described by his school Principal as "a model student,
who always tries to make the most of all opportunities offered to
him." Throughout high school he was also an award winning student
in Mathematics, Business Enterprises and Japanese.
On being awarded a First Foundation scholarship with the
Warehouse, Recruitment Manager Paul Woolf said of Dean "I was
impressed with his positive outlook and the goals he has set
himself in life."
Dane attended The University of Auckland and graduated in 2007
with a Bachelor of Commerce then gained his chartered accountant
qualifications.
He is currently FX & Fuel Risk Management Analyst for
Thomas Cook in London.
Before moving to the UK, Dane worked at Fonterra and KPMG.
