Cherub Tamasi is the first to admit that her first year at
secondary school was tricky, but a desire to study nursing gave her
a new passion for education and she hasn't looked back since.
Highlights include being a confirmed as a 2016 Prefect, excellent
results in Physical Education, Science and Health. Cherub is
equally committed to sport and has represented her school in
netball, volleyball and 1st XV girls rugby.
She was on Tamaki College's Sports Council which organised
inter-house sporting competitions. Cherub has attended the KATTO
programme, the Hauora Science Programme, the STAR Nursing
programmes and the LENS (Liggins Education Network for Science)
programme.
"Cherub is a young woman with clear goals and a strong sense of
purpose who is determined to take her place in the world and as a
school we know the nation as a whole will be better for it," said
Tamaki College principal Soana Pamaka.
