Cameron achieved NCEA level 1 Merit endorsements in Biological
Science, Physical Science, Graphics and PE. He was a Year 10
Prefect and is currently a member of the 2015 Student Executive
Team.
Mountain biking is one of Cameron's passions, both training and
racing, plus repairing his bikes. He achieved a bronze in his
age group for Canterbury, and can often be found building or
maintain mountain bike tracks in the Port Hills. He has also
represented his school in Cycling, Triathlon and the 3000m. His
cycling coach describes him as a valued team member who shows
leadership abilities but who is also willing to add to the group's
success and therefore acts as a good role model to younger
riders.
During a World Challenge Expedition he was a leader of the
Transport and Budget teams, organising their journey to Cambodia.
Cameron is a member of Red Cross, and has worked both at Berry
picking and in General engineering work.
His goal is to study Mechanical Engineering at Canterbury
University - and one day to become an Engineer.
