Brad was first equal in economics and first in History in 2012;
first in Chemistry, History and Economics in 2013; and gained many
awards and prizes in 2014 as well as achieving excellence
endorsements in NCEA at all levels. He was also awarded school
debater of year in 2013 and received a "highly commended" in the
Russell McVeagh NZ Schools debating champs.
The Ministry of Youth Development awarded Brad a Youth Leader
award. He also founded the Whangarei District Council Youth
Advisory Group and has a strong interest in Politics. Brad was one
of ten Youth Ambassadors representing New Zealand in Fiji at the
UNICEF conference.
Brad is currently attending Victoria University in Wellington,
studying a con-joint in Economics; Public Policy; Political Science
and International Relations with the eventual goal of becoming a
Politician or even the Prime Minister.
In December 2015 he was awarded The Queen's Young Leader
Award. This award recognises and celebrates exceptional people
aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in
their communities and using their skills to transform lives.
